This listing is for a yard of elegant sequins fringe in 3 different lengths (6, 12, and 16" [inches]). This product is made of loose 6mm flat plain-colored sequins connected by thread and has a bias tape for easy attachment or application.
This product is used in different performance wears such as dance, Broadway, carnival costumes and other occasions. It is lightweight and can be applied to go around the waist, neck, and can be used to dangle from the arms. It is so versatile you can apply it all over your body or costume. Perfect material if you want something elegant but cost-effective, sparkly but not too heavy. It will move according to the movement of your body.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a ready-made skirt. It has to be applied on another material either by sewing or gluing. No closure is included in this product. It is used to embellish or add accent to your costume!
Length: Available in 6", 12", and 16" (inches). The total length of the fringes include the bias/ribbon tape.
Spacing: Each sequins strand is 1/2" apart from each other. If you want to make it look fuller, you can double or triple the layers of the fringe.
The following details per length are as follow:
6" - has a 1/2" ribbon tape and has approximately 20 pieces of sequins per strand
12" - has 1" ribbon tape and has approximately 40 pieces of sequins per strand
16" - has 1 1/2" ribbon tape and has approximately 60 pieces of sequins per strand
A yard of sequins fringe would have approximately 80 sequin strands per yard.
Sold by the yard (1 yard = 36 inches). A yard would mostly be enough to go around the waist but if you want to make it look full, you have to double or triple the amount of the fringe. Layering is key!
For best application, machine or hand-sewing is recommended. Glue can be used as well.
